THIS YEAR'S TREE....

Our house is so small that we always put the tree in front of
the front door.  We never use that door much in the winter,
only use it in the summer so we can go sit on the swing
on the front porch.

Had to have a picture of the top of the tree so our daughter-n-law
could see that we are still using the Santa she gave me years and
years ago.  Think of her each time I put on the tree.  Thanks Diane!

HAND PAINTED ORNAMENTS...

A few of my Christmas Bears.  I hand painted a set of these a few years ago.
Not sure how many there are but it was a lot of work to paint.  I love placing
them on our tree and seeing that I can get some things done...

NON-REPLACEABLE ORNAMENTS...

Ornaments like these two can never be replaced.  They are just plain glass ornaments
but inside are Christmas messages from my son when he was small, years ago.
The first one was on a gift from him that says "to mom from Kevin" and the second
one was on another gift and he wrote "Mom, from your red headed woodpecker"
These are precious to me...Love you son!

HAND PAINTED IN 19778

The little Christmas tree with the circle ornaments was hand painted by my
daughter, Suzie, back in 1978.

This little cane was painted the same year by my daughter.  I have about
ten or twelve on my tree that she painted way back then and
are precious to me.  We look at them together each year
with a smile.

TAT for PAM

My daughter, Suzie couldn't be at the Life Celebration for her best friend, Pam, since she was so
far away and had just been there the week before ... so she got a tattoo of what Pam told her
when Suzie was crying and telling Pam she was sorry for crying.

Suzie got the tattoo the same time as the service was being held ...
