LOST FIRST TOOTH...

Xoi, our great Grand Daughter (and she is GREAT!)
lost her first tooth today!
Her aunt Kendi sent her a message that the going rate
from the Tooth Fairy today is
$20.00!!!!

RE-DO CRAFT SPACE...

Painting and adding new carpet to my craft room that I have to share with
the laundry room.

Sam Cat is my helper as well and my grandson, Josh, who pulled most of
the contact paper off the walls and did a bunch of painting.  Yes, who ever
did this room before used contact instead of wallpaper and was it ever
hard to get off!!!

Guess where my lovely daughter is going in a few days on a company trip.  They give these
trips to employees each year and this year her friend won and ask her to go with her!

FRONT YARD WRECK...

Was sitting in my living room this morning reading around 9:30 when
I heard this noise that sounded like a freight train coming in my
living room.  I ran out to the porch thinking "the fence will be on
the porch" and this is what I saw!

My neighbor ran the stop sign and was t-boned!  The stop sign and street sign are under
the van.  Thank God, no one was hurt, not even my fence !

As you can see the van was touching my fence....I'm very happy I still have my fence
but I'm soooo sorry for those poor people...  My husband and I was sitting on the porch
yesterday counting the cars that rolled that stop sign (even a cop car) and said one of
these days someone is going to get it...Looks like today was the day :( 

BEST MOTHER'S DAY GIFT EVER...

Got up on Mother's Day morning and found this on my Face Book page...
Justin had uploaded his first bunch of pictures from Afghanistan.  It sure
made the day for his mom, me and the rest of our family. 
So proud of you Justin...can't wait for you to get home!!!

CONTACT PAPER...

Someone decorated our back room, which was once the back porch, with
contact paper!  I have been spending the past few days peeling it off
with the help of my grandson, Joshua.  When we get the paper
off I am going to paint it a very soft yellow with bright white trim
and turn it into my art studio and get back into my painting...and
I hope I won't be painting walls!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY...



My baby turns 44 today.  Where has all the time gone?   My
little Suzy-Q is all grown up and a wife and  mother herself.
She has two beautiful boys, Justin is 21 and serving in
Afghanistan with the Marines and Joshua is 18 and a
Senior in High School. 



YARD WORK...



My Grandson, Josh, has been coming over each day
this week to help us catch up with yard work.  Today
this is all the yard work I am going to do!!!!!
I think I am a little tired of it right now and as my
family can tell you, it's not my favorite thing to do! 
I wish it was, so that way I would have a nice
yard all the time but it's not, so my
husband has the chore and so does Josh :)
