HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR DAUGHTER...

This is a picture of my daughter and her boys about 10 years ago.  I have
always loved it, they are having so much fun running around the
yard.  Today is her 46th birthday.  Happy Birthday dear daughter,
I love you!!!

MRI ...

Went for the MRI to see what is wrong with my sciatica nerve.  They say it is inflamed and pinched.  All I know is that I have never had anything hurt so bad!  I thought I was going to almost die when I had to lay in that MRI tube for about 20 minutes and not move.  Oh ... I could have just cried !!!!

SCIATICA NERVE AND ER...

Ended up in the ER this morning from all the medication these doctors have me on. I have been to five doctors and physical therapy since this sciatica nerve started in January.  I can't walk, can't get into the shower with out help, can't do anything but suffer.  Each  doctor gives me a new pill and sends me on to another doctor.  The specialist they sent me to, told me to walk 45 minutes each day.  Right!  I can't make it to the bathroom with out help.  What may I ask is he talking about!!!

The ER doctor gave me two shots of something and told me to go home and not move.  My whole back side is inflamed .  You can say that again!!!!  My leg feels like it is on fire!!! Going to go back on Monday for an MRI.  Just want this to STOP!!!!  It's the pain from hell...

This is what the Internet says about Sciatica Nerve:

Pain symptoms from sciatica, usually caused by pressure on the sciatic nerve, can vary significantly from one person to the next. Usually starting in the lower back, sciatic pain can radiate through the pelvis, buttocks and down the back of the leg. Usually symptoms are only felt on one side of the body.

Depending on the source of trouble, sciatic pain may be felt in the foot or even all the way to the toes. Sciatic nerve pain intensity can range from minor to severe, causing burning or aching sensations.

Sciatica also causes tingling, numbness or weakness in the affected areas in some cases. Increased pain or numbness is common while sitting down.

TWO SICK-O'S...

Here we are, the two sick-o's.  I am still on my walker while
visiting my daughter, Suzie, in the hospital on all days,
Valentines Day!
They thought she was having another heart attack but
she says it came down to stress.  This is the second time
she has been admitted to the hospital for her heart.
We make quite the pair!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME.....

I am turning the big 68 today.  My mom and sister came over
to wish me a Happy Birthday.  Mom gave me  a check which
I will use to buy make up that I need so much.  Linda, my sister
gave me the greatest African violet pot for my AV collection.
Not sure which plant I will put in it but I love it.  Don't think I
like the age 68, I have always had the idea that would be my
last year of life.  Don't know where that came from but it popped
into my head a few years ago when having a fun conversation
with my aunt Ann and cousin Sharon and it stuck.  Suzie will
probably come over on the week end.

DOCTOR RESULTS...

Doctor took x-ray of my back and leg, did ultra sound to check for blood clots plus a a shot and prescription for Meloxicam.  Have to go back next week.  The shot did great and I can walk without
it hurting so bad....today that is...hope it keeps working.

SORE MUSCLE...

Not sure what is going on with my leg but I am on my way to see the Doctor today.  I have been limping around for about two weeks and it feels like a sore muscle but not getting better and getting harder to walk.  What in the world is going on here???

SAYING GOODBYE...

I hate this!!!!

AFRICAN VIOLET DAY..

Been working with my African Violet collection today, planting and re-potting.
I planted about ten baby plants and 15 leaves.  Like I need more plants but I
can't bring myself to throw them out; 

COUNT DOWN...

This time next week my grandson, Justin (front row on the left with the Purple Heart)
will be on his way back to Afghanistan for the his second deployment. 
I don't mind telling you, I HATE IT !!!!
Sometimes life really SUCKS!!!

NEW YEARS EVE DAY...

Having a very nice and quite New Years Day here at our little old cottage house
in Arkansas.  Going to repot some African Violets after the lunch my hubby
is in the kitchen fixing.  Yes dear friends, he does all the grocery shopping and
all the cooking.  What a blessing he is!!! 
Praying that 2013 will be a great Blessing also ....

This was put on a package for my daughter from her
grandmother, Lois many years ago.  I saved it
and still put it on one of her packages each year.
Brings a smile to both of us.

and now she is beginning too.

CHRISTMAS TREE...



For the first time in about eight or nine years we put up
our Christmas Tree.  We have always had Christmas at
my mother's house so we stopped putting one up
for just the two of us.  This year mom said she was
cancelling Christmas so we said we would have it at our house.
My daughter has been after us to do it here for about five years
so this year she is getting her wish.

CHRISTMAS FOR JUSTIN, TAYOR AND COLTON...

Early Christmas for Justin and his family since they have to back on base by
the 17th.  Justin made my day when he opened the camo Arkansas hat he has on
in this picture.  He wanted to buy it the other day and even tried it on but needed
to save his money to get home on.  We were both excited!!!!!
