My Grandson, Josh , escorting Kassy in the "COLORS DAY 2010" ceremony at their High School Friday night before the Basket Ball game. We didn't do great with the game but the Ceremony was beautiful and so were all the girls!

Grandson, Justin, home on leave from the Marines, chating with old school chums :)
My Grandson, Justin Dan, is graduating from Marine Boot camp tomorrow, January 15, 2010. His mom, dad and brother are all in San Diego to be with him. They are flying home Saturday and Justin will be here for ten days then reports back for duty. I can't wait to see him. I did get to talk to him this evening for a few minutes. I don't know what I did to
get such a wonderful special young man for a grandson! I Love You Justin....
It's a White Christmas...woo-hoo! It's cold, it's wet, it's windy and you can't go anywhere. The roads are beginning to thaw out a little now that it's too late to go to my mother's for Christmas dinner as we had planned. Almost didn't make it home last night from mother's with this storm blowing in. We have 4/6 inches and it's 17 degrees out there so we stayed home and had hot dogs for Christmas dinner :)
I came home from work the other day and Hubby gave me this box and said I thought you might like this. Anyway I hope you do...I do...I LOVE it!!! At first this little bracelet looks like it is a row of hearts then you look at it again and it is "GOD" spelled out...yes! I "LOVED" IT! My other bracelet that we found at a friend's shop here in Siloam Springs called CeeCee'shas the Lord's Prayer engraved on it with a tiny mustard seed hanging off of it. I have been wearing them everyday!!!!
Halloween night at my daughter's house....They set up a "Spook House" on their front deck and the neighbours came to help. My son-in-law is the one with the white hair and my daughter has the white mask on :)
How come new phones are so hard for me to learn????? I got my own phone yesterday and now I need one of my grandsons to come over and program it for me :( Hubby is keeping the old phone for his self, he already knows how to use that one! Help Josh!!!!!!
I love genealogy, painting and scrapbooking. I taught painting classes and did craft shows for more years than I can count. I have scraped for over 12 years. I started digital scrapping about five years ago and love it. We have a half-dozen grandkids and I am always snagging their pictures off their "FaceBook" to scrap. My daughter "Suzie" takes beautiful photo's that I try my best to snag for scrapping. I also love all things Americana, Shabby Chic, Vintage and Gently Worn. We both love to visit Thrift Stores and Flea Markets almost every week-end. The one thing I Hate to do is cook. But hubby spoils me by being a great cook and doing it all, even the grocery shopping. The kitchen is his and that is find with me. One of my favorite quotes is: "You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suite me. by ~ C.S. Lewis~
