A week of rain, hail, thunder, lighting and tornado's....

CONTACT PAPER...

Someone decorated our back room, which was once the back porch, with
contact paper!  I have been spending the past few days peeling it off
with the help of my grandson, Joshua.  When we get the paper
off I am going to paint it a very soft yellow with bright white trim
and turn it into my art studio and get back into my painting...and
I hope I won't be painting walls!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY...



My baby turns 44 today.  Where has all the time gone?   My
little Suzy-Q is all grown up and a wife and  mother herself.
She has two beautiful boys, Justin is 21 and serving in
Afghanistan with the Marines and Joshua is 18 and a
Senior in High School. 



YARD WORK...



My Grandson, Josh, has been coming over each day
this week to help us catch up with yard work.  Today
this is all the yard work I am going to do!!!!!
I think I am a little tired of it right now and as my
family can tell you, it's not my favorite thing to do! 
I wish it was, so that way I would have a nice
yard all the time but it's not, so my
husband has the chore and so does Josh :)

MISSING THE REUNION...



I'm sad my daughter didn't get to go to her 25th Reunion that is going on today so
here is a little reminder of her Prom Day's with her High School friends.  One
good thing is that they are all still great friends and keep in touch with the help of Face Book...

BROTHERS 41ST ANNIVERSARY...

Today is my brother Jim and his wife Gloria's 41st Anniversary.  41 years...Wow! Congratulations!

PUT THE BOOK DOWN GIRL!!!



I can't seem to lay this book down today...It's a nice
quite Saturday and I have had my nose in this book most of the
day!!!  I feel so guilty when I do this!  I did get the bed made, the kitchen
floor mopped and also the mud room mopped which is a MESS!!!
I started cleaning the mud room until my art table came apart and
everything started to fall.  Needs Hubby to put new bolts or something
on it!!!  Anyway that was the end of that...I quit and picked up my book...
and I have been here ever since!!!
