California and sent me
these pictures. He starts
putting up his lights just
after Thanksgiving and is
ready to turn them on by
December 1. He has all
the lights set to music and
you can tune into the radio
station and listen. The lights
will keep time to the music.
What a setup!!!!!
It's so Beautiful!!!!
He said he is in a few of
these pictures in a red
shirt. I coulnd't find him,
can you????

Did you find him?
He said he was

FIRST SNOW...

We got up this morning to our first snow . Not a heavy snow, which I am thankful for and I am on vacation today so I don't have to get out in it. It was beautiful standing there watching it come down. It should be all gone by this afternoon. Tomorrow it is suppose to be high 50's almost to 60 which is fine by me since I have to go back to work...

THANKSGIVING DINNER...

I hope your Thanksgiving was as
nice as ours was. For the second
year in a row we went to Fred's
Hickory Inn for our dinner. It
was just as great this year as it
was last year. We even got to
sit in the same place so it made
it feel a little more like home.
After dinner we went to my daughter's in-laws so the kids could play with the horse and feed it apples. Josh also got to play around with the ducks.
After that we went into the house, crashed and told good old
"Remember that and Remember when" stories.

LITTLE PENNY IN THE PARKING LOT...

That Little Penny In The Parking Lot

Remember this every time you pass that little penny in the parking lot.

I always thought that it was for good luck,

but I love this version better.

I found a penny today

Laying on the ground.

But it's not just a penny,

This little coin I've found.

Found pennies come from heaven,

That's what my Grandpa told me.

He said Angels toss them down.

Oh, how I loved that story.

He said when an Angel misses you,

They toss a penny down;

Sometimes just to cheer you up,

To make a smile out of your frown.

So, don't pass by that penny

When you're feeling blue.

It may be a penny from heaven

That an Angel's tossed to you.

SURPRISED WHAT YOU CAN FIND...

The other day while searching for information on my Family Tree I came across the Death Certificate for my GG Grandmother and another one for the brother of my GG Grandfather. This is a picture of them, Jack and Rebecca Goodwill Walters, and two of their children in 1923. The other picture is of Jack and his children with his brother Homer on the end. Sometimes I am really surprised with what you can find on the internet. I know I was on this day!
