GETTING READY!

Yes, the whole family is "getting ready" for Maycee and Jon to have their baby. Maycee is our beautiful grand daughter and "getting ready" to give birth to our great grandson. WOW! She is due in (I'm guessing) around Oct 13th - 15th. He is going to be one great little boy...because he will be surrounded with lots of LOVE from the Benson's next door (Maycee's wonderful family) and from all the rest of her family who already love him and haven't yet met him....

HOPPER HERITAGE

I did manage to do something yesterday. I finished these "scrapN" pages of my Great Grandparents. Also finished the pictures for my brother's heritage book. The one that I am working on for his birthday. All I have to do now is the "writing" that's the hard part!

GREAT GREAT GRANDPARENTS

HOPPER HERITAGE

As you can tell, I've been digging into my "Hopper" genealogy albums again. I am making an album for my brother's birthday at the end of October. This first page is a picture of my grandpa's brother, Thomas (Tom) Bradford Hopper and his son , Oval Thorton Hopper (Pete). This was taken in the late 1930's or early 40's near Pineville, Missouri.

The next picture is of another brother of my grandpa's, Meredith Newton Hopper. Family of Meredith and Ora Evans Hopper - Lawson, Glen, Farris, Edith, Meredith, Jennie, Ora, Hazel, Cleo, Ruth and Clara. I was told this was taken around 1940 and probably at Needmore, Oklahoma.

All this was told to me by family, if any of you can correct this please do so. I can use all the help I can get. ;-)

House is Real Quite!

Suzy and Brian got home from California yesterday. They went to Avila Beach to
renew their vows for their tenth anniversary. Josh is back at home and Grammie
and Papa's house is all quite....(real quite). As you get older you forget how
busy life is with a teenager. He did keep us hopping but in a good way. We took
Josh and his brother, Justin, out to dinner on Josh's birthday. He didn't want anyone
singing to him at the restaurant....so of course we took care of that..hehehehehe

Josh is Turining Sweet "16" on September 11

Yes, Josh will be 16 on Thursday, September 11. Time does fly. He is staying with us this week while his parents are in California. My daughter, Suzy and her husband are celebrating their tenth Wedding Anniversary today. They are renewing their vows, at 2 o'clock this afternoon, on the beach at Avila. Her sister and brother are coming from Bakersfield and some of her girl friends from high school plan to be there. So we have Josh for the week and boy is it hard to keep up with a teenager at my age!
